It’s fair season. This past Friday I had the pleasure of going to the Fried Food Capital aka State Fair of Texas with my girls.
We had a great time, sweated in the humid sun, and indulged until we made ourselves sick. I also got to revisit one of my favorite childhood rides: The Lovebug.
I had fried Mac n cheese, chili cheese fries, a Fletcher’s corndog, a blue raspberry Willy Nilly, and a few bites of cotton candy. I promise I didn’t eat all of it by myself, but when you go to the fair you have to just dive right in!
For some reason, the fair is just one of those traditions that I always seem to love. I especially love going with my friends!
