Bye-Bye Busty Blues!

As if Victoria’s Secret didn’t already have a warm spot in my heart, that spot was solidified with the recent release of the new Simply Strapless Demi Bra.

As a woman, foundation garments can be make or break. As a woman with a whole lot of…extra blessings, finding a bra in itself can be difficult. Finding a strapless bra can be even more of a hassle.

After countless failed attempts at finding a strapless home in which to bury my treasure chest, I finally struck gold in the dressing room of Victoria’s Secret.

When Olga, the sales representative, presented me with the bra I was unimpressed at first glance. Olga ranted and raved about it, but I dismissed her praise because she was a woman of slighter build. I thought, sure it would work for her but not for me. I thought the flimsy material would be no match for my endowments.

Reluctantly, I tried it on and at that moment, I do believe the heavens opened up.
I was pleasantly surprised at the support I was able to receive from a bra that was so thin. My girls were sittin’ pretty. But it doesn’t stop there. The inside of the bra is laced with silicone that sticks to your skin so all that slipping and sliding that I’d become accustomed to came to a screeching halt.

Needless to say, I made a mad dash for the cash register to purchase the bra. Still in disbelief, I decided to wear it out that night to give it the ultimate test. I’m critical by nature, so I was certain I could find something-anything to complain about.

Nope. Nothing. I went to dinner. Went out dancing. Slept in it. Wore it to lunch. Walked blocks in the heat. Showered twice, and went to an event in that thing. It never let me down, pun intended, and it felt like I was wearing a comfortable t-shirt instead of a bra.

Ladies, large and small, flat and round, do yourself a favor and just get the bra. It’s one of Victoria’s best kept secrets.
