For a limited time only. I’ve decided to try this vegan thing for the month of September. Yes, on Labor Day. Anyone who knows me knows that I eat what I want. I don’t classify myself as a vegetarian, pescatarian, omnivore, carnivore or whatever anymore. I classify myself as hungry and remedying that by any means neccessary.
Anyone who knows me ALSO knows that I love a good challenge. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fall flat on my face, but I love getting something new started to work toward. I’m gonna try for the whole month of September, so you guys stop inviting me out to dinner all the time 😉
I have no problem with meat or with people who eat meat. I think it’s here for a reason and if it nourishes your body then go for it. I just don’t digest it well. Since I have drastically lowered my meat intake my digestion has improved times a bajillion (yes, that is a mathematical term, hehe). I do, however, still eat a lot of eggs, and yogurt.
I’m very interested to see the affects of a vegan diet on my digestion and on my skin, and maybe even my energy levels. I love a good experiment and can’t wait to see the results.
Now, to only find recipes. I’m not sure I know how to maneuver this thing.
Tips anyone? Where are the good vegan recipes out there?
