Fall season is among us, and other than the treacherous amounts of allergens floating around in the air, it is one of my favorite times of year. Boots, scarves, and hats galore. Actually, I think any time the seasons change is my favorite time of year. It’s like a new chapter beginning. It’s also a good point to gauge how far you’ve come throughout the year.
So what have you done lately? Remember those New Year’s Resolutions? Have you crossed any off your list yet? Did you make any goals for this year? It’s okay if you haven’t completed them yet. Now’s the perfect time to get busy working on those goals, in fact. It’s absolutely not too late to start working toward your dreams. Tomorrow may never come. There’s no time like the present. There’s no time guaranteed but the present. Live in it and do those things you’ve been putting off. Now that the winds have changed and brought in a new season, let them also bring about a new season in your life. A season when you handle business like you’ve been “planning” to all this time. Change is in the air. Go with the current.
If you have been sticking to your goals, congratulations! Keep pushing, and don’t give up. I applaud you.
I was supposed to do a sprint triathlon this year. That ain’t happening. However, I’ve been challenged to do one next year. That means, I’m in.
What have you been working on this year? Did you start something new or stick to your goals? What have you been putting off? What’s something you can do to change it and fight off procrastination like a bad cold?
