My Everyday 10-Minute Make Up

These dark circles under my eyes are simply genetic. You can check my baby pics if you don’t believe me. It’s one of the many reasons I’ve chosen to continue to wear glasses instead of opting for contacts. My whole life has been one long comeback to the phrases, “you look sick” and “you look tired”. I can’t help it. But what I have learned is how to wake those eyes up with a few simple steps.

I’m not ashamed of my raccoon eyes. At this point in my life, I have made peace with my face. From my hooded lids to my beady eyes, to my bulbous nose and full lips. I love it all.  All of it makes me my own kind of beautiful. I do, however, appreciate being able to look alert, alive, and polished with the use of a few of my favorite products.

I, like most of you, work in an office so I need to look nice but I don’t have a full 40 minutes to dedicate to “everyday makeup” like some of my favorite Youtubers. So I’m giving you my staples and the secret sauce I use to glow up in just 10 minutes.

Step 1: Wash the crust out of your eyes.

Step 2: Brows on- Anastasia BH Dipbrow Pomade “medium brown”. My brows don’t match at all. Don’t be alarmed.

Step 3: Bye dark circles- NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer “Caramel”

Step 4: Bake baby- Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder

Step 5: Even skin tone- NARS Sheer Glow Foundation “Macao” (only on my discolored areas)

Step 6: Set- MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural “Dark”

Step 7: A lil liner- NYX gel liner

Step 8: Blush- MAC “Ambering Rose”

Step 9: Boost the lashes-  Maybelline Great Lash

Step 10: Glow baby!- Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water (holy grail!)

Each step takes just a minute, literally. This is what I use to look like I care without spending all morning in the mirror. Let me know what you use for your go-to morning face!

xoxo Kaisha
